As a **Security Professional - Telecom Building Patrol** in **New York, NY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a dynamic tech and media location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

+ Maintain awareness of surroundings within a tech, media, and telecom environment and report any suspicious or unusual activity.

+ Document observations and/or incidents according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

+ Assist visitors and employees by answering questions and giving directions as needed.

+ Follow all site-specific instructions and collaborate with client representatives and Allied Universal management as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ A Guard Card or license is preferred.

+ CPR certification and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
