As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will actively patrol assigned areas while primarily driving, maintaining a strong presence to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations within the government location in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter security-related incidents.

+ Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related hazards to the appropriate personnel.

+ Interact with visitors, staff, and/or the public in a professional and courteous manner while upholding site policies.

+ Follow all Allied Universal and client protocols regarding armed security-related duties and use of force, as applicable.

Minimum Requirements:

+ 3 years or more of prior law enforcement, military or adult corrections experience or a complete bachelors degree in Criminal Justice is required

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
