As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution setting, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit within logistics and distribution locations.

+ Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises to maintain site-specific protocols.

+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel in accordance with location policies and procedures.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific guidelines.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Maintain accurate records and logs of access control activity, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client site policies.

+ Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management, local law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents.

+ Support emergency response activities by following established procedures and cooperating with first responders.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Previous experience in loss prevention is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
