As a **Security Professional - Cultural Institution Entry Control** in **Pleasantville, NY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in supporting a welcoming and secure environment within a cultural institution. You will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and attentive service. What You'll Do:

+ Control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of all individuals entering the premises.

+ Assist with implementing site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and visitor management.

+ Help to deter unauthorized entry through observation and proper documentation of relevant activities.

+ Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and guests by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the building and perimeter to monitor for potential security-related concerns.

+ Support emergency response activities as directed, maintaining communication with the appropriate personnel.

+ Prepare accurate and timely reports regarding incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
