What You'll Do:

+ Control access to the chemical or petrochemical location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.

+ Assist with visitor management, including logging visitors and issuing access badges as appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.

+ Observe and report any unusual or security-related activity to proper authorities and Allied Universal management.

+ Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific policies and procedures.

+ Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
