    As a **Security Officer - Tech Media Patrol** in **Fort Wayne, IN** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as needed.

    + Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols established for the location.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

    + Document and report observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

    + Collaborate with on-site personnel and other team members to maintain a secure environment in a technology and data-driven setting.

    + Assist with access control and verification processes to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.

    + Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions in the environment, adapting responses as necessary.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Customer service experience is preferred.

    + CPR certification is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
