As a **Security Officer - Access Control Driver** in **Monmouth, IL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible throughout the site to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while maintaining a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license in the job state is required. What You'll Do:

+ Control access to the location by verifying identification, credentials, and/or authorization of individuals entering the premises.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for security-related concerns specific to food and beverage operations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.

+ Provide customer service by interacting professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

+ Document incidents and activities as required by location and Allied Universal protocols.

+ Support emergency response activities as needed according to site guidelines and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
