What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to observe for suspicious activity and help to deter potential threats.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying identification and controlling access as required by site protocols.

+ Write detailed incident and activity reports, documenting observations and actions taken during the shift.

+ Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter unauthorized individuals and security-related risks.

+ Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency services when required, following all established protocols and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ 3 years or more of prior law enforcement, military or adult corrections experience or a complete bachelors degree in Criminal Justice is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
