As a **Security Officer - Armed Patrol Transportation Sector** in **Los Angeles, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. What You'll Do:

+ Carry out security-related patrols, both regular and random, around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.

+ Provide customer service by assisting individuals at the location and following security-related procedures as directed.

+ Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including taking action according to established protocols.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents encountered during patrols, documenting details as required by Allied Universal and site policies.

+ Work collaboratively with other security professionals and/or public officials as needed to address situations that arise.

+ Maintain awareness of the surroundings and remain alert to potential security-related concerns specific to transportation environments.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Applicants must possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
