What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to all visitors, patients, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of the healthcare location.

+ Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying identification and issuing visitor badges as required.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate.

+ Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disruptive behavior.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or maintenance concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts.

+ Assist with directing visitors and answering general inquiries to support a welcoming environment.

+ Follow protocols for handling lost and found items and/or assisting individuals in need of assistance within the facility.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

+ A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.

+ Current CPR certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
