As a **Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Unarmed** in **North Bergen, NJ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a logistics and distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, staying visible to assist in preventing unwanted activity, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a logistics and distribution environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and loading areas to help to deter unauthorized access or activity within the location.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, vendors, and Allied Universal staff as needed.

+ Document observations and incidents accurately in site logs and reports, following site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
