As a **Security Professional - School Campus Patrol** in **Ashburn, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the campus. Your role includes monitoring assigned areas, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff, students, and visitors. You will play an important part in fostering a welcoming environment while upholding Allied Universal’s values of integrity, teamwork, and people-first culture. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, responding to emergencies as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, keeping an eye out for unusual activity and helping to deter unwanted behavior.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

+ Complete security-related reports and documentation as required by site-specific protocols.

+ Work in environments typical of educational locations, adapting to varying conditions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.

+ Experience providing customer service is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
