As an Allied Universal Security Professional in a patrol unarmed position at a utilities location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to promote a secure environment, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication and professionalism. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as required.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

+ Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards within the location, reporting findings to the appropriate parties.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while performing duties.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and observations as required by site protocols.

+ Support Allied Universal and client leadership by following all instructions and protocols specific to the utilities environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
