    As a **Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver** in **New London, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

     

    As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires carrying a firearm and driving as part of your daily responsibilities. You will conduct routine patrols, engage with the public through exceptional customer service, and respond to incidents as needed.     Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

    Job Schedule:

    Day** **Time

     

    Fri05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

     

    Sat05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

     

    Sun05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

    What You’ll Do:

    + Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

    + Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

    + Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

    + Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

    + Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.

    + Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, adapting to various working environments and conditions specific to the government location.

    + Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining an alert and visible presence throughout assigned areas.

    + Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report any unusual observations or activities according to company and client protocols.

    + Support Allied Universal in upholding client expectations regarding site security-related operations and procedures.

    + Document and communicate incidents, activities, and observations in accordance with site and company requirements.

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Availability across various days and shifts

    + Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

    + A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

    + Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Have at least 1 year of experience in an armed security-related, law enforcement, or military role.

    + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
