Responsibilities
The Program Coordinator must ensure achievement of the program's goals and outcomes, and is responsible for all aspects of the program, including the organization, administration, continuous review, planning, development and general effectiveness of the program. The Program Coordinator must provide supervision, administration and coordination of the students and instructional staff in the academic and clinical phases of the educational program. The Program Coordinator is experienced in the relevant cardiovascular medicine field and is expected to maintain expertise in the job function as well as perform relevant clinical responsibilities for a portion of their FTE.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a relevant field **OR** three years clinical experience in the last five years. For candidates meeting the clinical experience requirement, a Bachelor’s degree will be required within 4 years of hire. Achieve academic appointment within 3-5 years. CRAT/CCT or RCIS/RCES certification required.
Master’s Degree preferred. Prior leadership/supervisory experience preferred or must demonstrate leadership/supervisory potential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work as a team member with physicians, administrators and other health professionals within and outside the person's primary field. Must be self-motivated, organized, efficient and able to meet deadlines. Must demonstrate independent problem-solving skills. Evidence of successful teaching experience. Experience with basic computer skills and electronic education tools required. Experience or training in quality improvement processes and techniques.
Licensure or Certification:
+ Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) / Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) required for Heart Rhythm program, **OR** Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) / Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification required for CVIS program.
+ If Rad Tech, must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (RRT).
+ Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) required.

Compensation Detail
$37.95 - $56.95 / hour. Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
