Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Irvine, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's accounts receivable processes. You will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, Accounting Manager, and other team members to ensure accurate financial operations within a high-value portfolio of assets and revenue. This position requires excellent organizational skills, precision, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Process and accurately record resident payments, including checks, wire transfers, credit cards, and other payment methods.

• Generate and distribute account statements to residents in a timely manner.

• Handle move-in and move-out submissions efficiently while ensuring data accuracy.

• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies promptly to maintain financial integrity.

• Maintain organized and detailed accounts receivable records and documentation.

• Prepare regular reports on collections to monitor and improve financial performance.

• Assist with month-end closing activities and reconcile accounts receivable subledger with the general ledger.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely billing processes.

• Provide support during audits and assist with reporting requirements.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Requirements • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting roles.

• Proficiency in accounting software, such as Manage America, Zego, or similar systems.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional service to residents.

• Skilled in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and other relevant technology tools.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a detail-oriented and proactive mindset.
