Description

We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Fresno, California. This Contract-to-position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and management of human resources functions within our organization. As a vital member of the HR team, you will work directly with the Director of Human Resources and staff across all departments to support recruitment, employee relations, training, and administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and implement HR services, procedures, and programs under the guidance of the Director of Human Resources.

• Serve as the primary contact for recruitment activities, including advertising job openings, screening applications, conducting interviews, and performing reference checks.

• Provide guidance and support to department managers on personnel and recruitment matters to align with organizational goals.

• Prepare and analyze HR reports by compiling data and presenting findings to the Director of Human Resources.

• Evaluate HR metrics and recommend strategies to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

• Organize and facilitate staff training and development programs to support employee growth and skill enhancement.

• Manage various HR projects and activities, ensuring they align with management objectives and service delivery.

• Address employee relations matters, offering consultation and solutions to the Director of Human Resources.

• Monitor staffing requirements and market trends to develop targeted recruitment strategies and campaigns.

• Administer examinations and analyze applications to ensure candidates meet job-specific qualifications.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources or related roles.

• Proficiency in HR administration, including recruitment, benefits coordination, and leave of absence management.

• Strong knowledge of legal forms and correspondence, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• Experience with background checks and candidate screening procedures.

• Familiarity with HR systems, including Paylocity, for effective data management and reporting.

• Expertise in benefits administration and payroll functions.

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple HR projects and reports.
