    Job Title: Tower Sealer Palletizer Operator

    Job Description

    The Tower Sealer Palletizer works in the Cheese department, rotating between three workstations: bagging finished cheese blocks, sealing the cheese package, and palletizing finished product.

    Responsibilities

    + Follow all GMPs and work in compliance with corporate, regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

    + Operate a forklift to transport cheese from the production area to the warehouse cooler.

    + Run Beta Vac and bag sealer ensuring no leakers.

    + Weigh blocks and affix label tickets on blocks and boxes.

    + Operate and validate metal detectors.

    + Operate boxer and the robotic system.

    + Manage tower operations.

    + Maintain operating records such as block counts.

    + Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.

    + Master sanitation procedures as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Packaging and lifting proficiency.

    + Ability to read work orders in English.

    + Team player with production, general labor, packing, loading, stacking, palletizing, and warehouse production skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Basic computer skills for documenting work orders.

    + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

    + Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.

    + Capability to work independently as required.

    + Knowledge of machines, tools, equipment, and lockout tagout procedures.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    Work Environment

     

    The role is based in a cheese manufacturing plant with a clean and sterile environment. Work involves 12-hour shifts from 8pm to 8am, following a rotating 2-3-2 shift schedule.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ZUMBROTA, MN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
