    Job Title: Material Handler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler who will be responsible for following detailed instructions to perform basic, standardized, and repetitive mechanical assembly operations. The role involves labeling of components, assemblies, or subassemblies, manual assembly of inserted components per visual aids, and inspection of parts to ensure correct assembly. The candidate will use scanners and hand tools for assembly tasks, report assembly accurately, and work under direct supervision while adhering to safety rules and company security policies.

    Responsibilities

    + Follow detailed verbal or written instructions.

    + Perform mechanical assembly operations and labeling of components, assemblies, or subassemblies.

    + Manually assemble inserted components per visual aids and verify specs.

    + Inspect parts to ensure correct assembly.

    + Use scanners and hand tools for assembly.

    + Accurately report assembly.

    + Work under the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor or Line Manager.

    + Follow safety rules and regulations.

    + Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.

    + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with power tools and installation.

    + Strong computer operation skills, including SAP.

    + Material handling experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

    + Ability to lift 35 lbs.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florence, KY.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $24.73/hr.
