    Are you a Human Resources professional who would enjoy bringing your expertise to a variety of organizations? Do you thrive on being an HR expert and providing phone, email, and instant message advice supporting our members? This role takes calls from our members answering some of their most basic questions to advising them on the best course of action on their most v exing issues. As an HR Advisor, you will partner with the legal team as a resource to our members as well as our HR Consultants who work at member locations. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 10 years of HR experience, including at least three years at a management level, and are knowledgeable in all aspects of federal employment law, as well as WA, OR, CA, and/or other states' employment laws .

    Qualifications

    The Senior HR Advisor provides accurate, legally compliant, timely delivery of HR Advice on the HR hotline, mozzo chat, and HR Consulting services to our members. The HR Advisor often partners with Workplace Law Group and serves as a resource to members, as well as HR Consultants. Additional work for the Advice team includes member investigations services and Handbook review. The work follows Archbright’s best practices and Customer Service brand traits , under the supervision of the Consulting Manager.

     

    Note - This role is for candidates in the Seattle area. It is primarily remote with travel within the Seattle area for some in-person work, and approximately once per quarter to attend Archbright conferences and other team meetings.

    Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

    + Utilizes Archbright’s best practices in delivery of all member services, through effective use of customer service brand traits and quality standards.

    + Contributes to the continuous improvement and documentation of Archbright best practices through rock results and other projects.

    + Evaluates the needs of the member organization and provides accurate, legally compliant, timely , and effective delivery of HR Advice to members via telephone, e-mail, videoconference, and mozzo chat.

    + Ability to effectively communicate to internal and external members.

    + Thoroughly and accurately research HR questions relevant to policy, practices, regulations , investigations and employee relations matters.

    + Perform handbook reviews and edits, ensuring handbooks are legally compliant, coherent , effective and adhering to Archbright practices, City code, State and Federal laws

    + Conducts investigations following Archbright’s investigation process with minimal corrections from the quality check.

    + Facilitate engaging and interactive Archbright University courses utilizing dynamic presentation skills and insightful discussion facilitation while responding and adapting to audience needs.

    + Maintain relevant and updated HR industry continuing education, legal/government activities and HR trends regarding employment law and employee relations matters.

    + Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    + S uggest content and continuous improvement updates for any member resources on mozzo or internal resources through the proper Content channels.

    + Provide internal training opportunities to Archbright employees in relation to the Advice team.

    + Provide the HR Consulting engagement support as assigned.

    + Facilitates on-site and virtual Archbright University classes as assigned.

    + Support Advice team members in the chat channel.

    Essential Qualifications for the Role:

    + Experience within a variety of industry sectors.

    + Strong understanding of Federal employment law, as well as Washington, Oregon, California, and/or other states’ employment laws.

    + Proven ability to deliver knowledgeable, confident, and friendly service involving all member relations.

    + Dedication to high-quality, accurate, and timely service to members.

    + Ability to clearly write and articulate a host of complex HR and business-related topics.

    + Strong organizational skills

    + Intermediate skills using MS Office Suite and internet research capabilities.

    + Judgment sufficient to identify when a question or issue requires legal advice.

    Duties:

    + Participate in Archbright connection and communication experiences including creating and working on quarterly objectives, 1:1s with manager, weekly check-in, and team, department, and company meetings.

    Position Requirements:

    Education and Experience:

    + Required:

    + Minimum of 10 years of exempt level Human Resources experience.

    + Minimum of 3 years management experience at a senior or executive level.

    + Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Preferred: Labor Relations experience strongly preferred.

     

    Training or facilitation skills preferred

    Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:

    Required: Current PHR or SPHR and/or SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification, or the ability to obtain certification within six months.

    Technical Skills:

    + Required: Excellent MS Office Suite experience, particularly Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel

     

    Preferred: Experience using SharePoint

     

    Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

     

    The employee may need to spend extended periods of time using a computer, as well as participating in phone calls and videoconferences.

     

    This position occasionally requires traveling to member companies and includes occasional evening and weekend work. The ability to travel to assignments is required.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to computer monitors and shared workspaces, if/when required to work from a shared office space.

     

    The hiring range for this role is $102,704 - $125,527 annually. The full range for this role is $91,297 - $136,945.
