Richmond Community Services—home to New York State’s largest Intermediate Care Facility (ICF)—is seeking a Nurse Supervisor (RN) on the shift to guide our exceptional nursing and AMAP teams in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

• What You’ll Do
+ Lead and mentor a dedicated team of nurses and AMAP staff, promoting excellence in every aspect of care.
+ Oversee clinical operations across the ICF, ensuring medication administration, documentation, and treatment protocols meet regulatory and OPWDD standards.
+ Provide hands-on nursing care and assessments while maintaining a strong presence on the floor.
+ Conduct investigations, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement in clinical practice.
+ Manage staff schedules, nursing supply inventory, and medication systems to ensure seamless operations.
+ Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to support person-centered planning and optimal outcomes.
+ Serve as the on-site nursing lead during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays—ensuring continuity of high-quality care.
• What You Bring
+ Current New York State RN license in good standing.
+ Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
+ Experience in ICF or OPWDD residential settings strongly preferred.
+ Strong clinical judgment, mentoring skills, and commitment to person-centered supports.
+ Ability to remain calm, confident, and solutions-oriented in a long term care environment.
