What You’ll Do

+ Manage requests through the Media Request System from multiple science departments.

+ Prepare buffers and media (from <1L to 2000L)

+ Review batch records through the Media Request System for data integrity.

+ Forecast and maintain chemical and consumable inventory.

+ Perform equipment standardizations, calibrations and preventive maintenance.

+ Perform glasswash and autoclaving of laboratory equipment.

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep lab.

+ Collaborate with the Supervisor and or Leads to address customer concerns and provide timely resolutions.

+ Maintain a Safety first Culture.

+ Participate in safety initiatives (Haz IDs, JDIs, incident reporting).

+ Suggest and implement process improvements.

+ Support onboarding and training new team members.

+ Perform other tasks within the statement of work.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

+ High School diploma required; college degree preferred.

+ 2+ years of laboratory experience preferred.

+ Customer service experience is a plus

Knowledge and Skills:

+ Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to work independently.

+ Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

+ Willingness to work in varied environments (cold rooms, hazardous materials, PPE required).

+ Ability to work overtime as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $19.64–$29.45.
