Job Title: Senior Director, Global Market Development – Proteomic Sciences

How will you make an impact?
Leading global marketing strategy and implementation as Sr Director involves collaborating with various teams for effective downstream marketing activities.
Responsible for diverse tasks, enhancing market visibility and customer engagement. Essential skills: strong marketing expertise. Lead, expand, and optimize a top-tier marketing team for business growth.
What will you do?
+ Formulate a complete strategic outlook in conjunction with operational marketing strategies to competitively position the company for success
+ Create global demand for products in a target customer-centric manner by developing and being responsible for execution of the customer segment-specific market marketing plan
+ Lead the coordination of launch initiatives in conjunction with Product Management, promotional marketing campaigns, and marketing communication efforts, guaranteeing alignment with the company’s commercial strategy.
+ Employ, cultivate, and energize a top-performing group of marketing experts
+ Develop a robust collaboration with the Sales team to actively engage and support corporate/commercial objectives
+ Collaborate with other critical functions to align objectives and plans
+ Build and cultivate a solid comprehension of the target customer segment requirements to craft compelling value propositions and key messages for boosting product adoption.
+ Establish and supervise a metrics/reporting system to follow and keep abreast of the effectiveness of marketing initiatives
+ Stay informed about the precision medicine markets, competitors, and customers with a focus on proteomics
+ Leverage market research and third-party data to size the market opportunity and translate this knowledge into creating successful marketing programs
+ Integrate marketing communication promotional tactics into the marketing structure, developing communication materials and pinpointing key events that enhance the company’s presence
+ Proficient teamwork and leadership abilities in the senior position within the Commercial Leadership Team and across the entire organization
How will you get here?
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific field; PhD and/or MBA or equivalent experience preferred
+ Vast experience spanning more than 15 years actively engaged in marketing positions that have evolved in complexity and responsibility within the fields of proteomics, molecular biology, genomics, or biotechnology.
+ More than ten years of managerial experience in marketing within the life science sector
+ Ability to influence across the organization at all levels, driving accountability across functions
+ Demonstrating leadership abilities and understanding of sales procedures and product management within the life science sector are valued.
+ Experience developing global marketing strategy, brand planning/brand management, positioning, messaging, brand name work, brand book, etc.
+ Strong creative intuition on design and messaging that resonates with customers and an ability to learn from previous campaigns to improve performance
+ Ability to develop, rationalize, and present strategy. Communicates (both written and verbal) in a professional, focused and compelling way that captures and holds others’ attention
+ Exceptional skill managing complex marketing projects with a strong attention to detail and outcome
+ Takes initiative, shows desire to learn and master essential skills, and seeks out opportunities and people that can help business grow
+ Strong multi-tasking abilities, easily juggles multiple priorities, leverages available resources and stays focused under pressure
+ Solid executive communication and financial management skills
+ Requires travel up to 25% for site visits, industry conferences, and visits to subsidiaries

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $192,700.00–$256,900.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
