    Pay

    $18.25 - $18.25 / hour

    What will you do?

     

    + Prepare and serve hearty meals for team members by following detailed recipes and cooking instructions while using proper techniques andmaintaininghigh standards of cleanliness and food safety.

    + Set up, operate, and clean kitchen equipment according to correct procedures, as well as keep workstations clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked

    + Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory

    + Receive and check deliveries for quantity and quality

    + Remove trash, recycle, and compost from the dish room and transport it to the correct dumpster, as well as clean and sanitize the garbage cans

    + Use waste control guildelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet

    + Perform other duties assigned

    More about you

    + At least 1 year of previous experience in a back-of-the-house foodservice position

    + Ability to effectively communicate with others in a leadership capacity

    + Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes

    + Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements

    + No high school diploma or GED required

    Physical requirements

    + Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more

    + Ability to stand for long periods while also bending, lifting, and reaching

    + Ability to place items above and below head height

    + Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders

    + Exposed to variable temperatures
