    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Perform complex welding operations using wire feed gun (flux core), stick welding (7018), and TIG welding processes

    + Handle layout, fit-up, and fabrication of intricate structural components and assemblies

    + Interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications accurately to ensure correct fabrication and assembly

    + Design and fabricate jigs and fixtures to support the production of high-quality products

    + Follow prescribed weld procedures and quality standards with precision and consistency

    + Work independently and efficiently, maintaining a high level of accuracy with minimal supervision

    + Safely operate oxygen/acetylene cutting torches and related welding equipment

    + Read and follow work routers and documentation to ensure proper workflow and traceability

    + Identify and report technical issues to the Repair Crew Chief and assist in troubleshooting and resolution

    + Adhere to all safety protocols and use safe work practices at all times

    + Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and meeting delivery goals

    + Comply with all company policies, procedures, and environmental requirements, including those outlined in process maps and support processes

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    + High school diploma or GED preferred

    + Minimum of 5 years' experience in welding within a shop or field environment

    + Must be able to successfully pass a 6G weld bend test in all major welding processes, including FCAW, SMAW, GMAW, and TIG

    + Experience mentoring or training others in layout, fit-up, welding, and inspection techniques is a plus

    + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
