Job Summary and Qualifications
As the Manager of Organizational Design for the Global Capability Network (GCN), you will be responsible for developing organizational design plans that support the GCN team and its stakeholders in planning and preparation for standing up new teams and evolving the structure of existing teams. You will partner closely with leaders across the enterprise, including GCN leaders, project teams and other corporate functions to ensure organization transformation is aligned to the business needs and supports a stable transition to new ways of working.
You will work with the VP of Global Organizational Transformation to support development of organizational design plans across business units related to developing new structures that support a shift to central support services while maintaining consistency and quality of outcomes. You will be responsible for collaborating with leaders across different corporate functions to develop robust organizational plans while adhering to best practice design parameters.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Support the VP of Global Org transformation to develop and design organizational structures for both the retained and global organizations considering global transformation objectives and business requirements.
+ Collaborate with businesses to evaluate and understand existing org structures and future state requirements during the transformation toward GCN capabilities and develop org recommendations tailored to the needs of each business unit.
+ Partner with HR to prepare the job architecture for the GCN and support the development of new roles.
+ Partner with HCA Healthcare local and global leaders to identify capability and workforce gaps.
+ Support transition management planning to enable business partners to execute on the organization transformation with care and clarity.
+ Create clear, timely and appropriate materials to support organization design, including operational updates, presentations, emails, and other materials to explain the evolving organization.
+ Support coordination and delivery of meetings for enterprise partners and GCN colleagues to enable discussion and clarity on business requirements for the future state organization to succeed.
+ Maintain a strong understanding of GCN requirements, priorities, and operational constraints to provide informed and proactive support to business partners and other key stakeholders.
+ Proactively identify risks and issues, and facilitate timely, effective resolutions.
+ Demonstrate adaptability in response to changes in tasks or priorities.
Job Requirements:
+ 5+ years of experience in organizational design or a related field, preferably supporting operational teams, shared services or global capability centers.
+ Experience developing and implementing org design plans for process changes, service transitions, or development of global capability centers.
+ Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, required.
+ Master’s degree preferred.
+ Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail and audience focus.
+ Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
+ Familiarity with global, matrixed business environments and virtual team collaboration preferred.
+ Proficiency with communication tools and platforms (email, SharePoint, PPT, etc.).
+ Comfort with organization design principles and best practices.
