    Job Summary and Qualifications

     

    Under the direction of the Director of Surgical Services, you will assume management responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the PACU, Day Surgery, and Pre-Admission Testing. You will assist in development, interpretation, and implement department policies & procedures, implement department safety programs, consult with physicians and other professional staff as needed and demonstrate knowledge & skills necessary to provide care appropriate to patients served by the department.

    What qualifications you will need:

    + Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing BSN required

    + Masters’ Degree in Nursing or related health field preferred

    + Current acute clinical knowledge required

    + Minimum of 1-year leadership/management experience required

    + Recent Peri-Operative services experience preferred

    + Basic computer and hospital informatics skills required

    + Demonstrates competency and knowledgeable in the principles of personnel management

    + Current Nevada license to practice nursing.

    + BLS, ACLS, & PALS required
