    Lead a high-performing team of account executives dedicated to AWS cloud solutions for state and local government and higher education institutions. This strategic role requires deep understanding of public sector procurement processes, educational technology needs, and AWS's comprehensive cloud portfolio.

     

    Key job responsibilities

     

    - Lead and develop a high-performing sales team focused on customer obsession

     

    - Drive strategic engagement with C-level executives and technical decision-makers

     

    - Execute comprehensive GTM strategies in partnership with marketing, solutions architecture, and business development teams

     

    - Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships to accelerate adoption

     

    - Meet/exceed revenue targets while building a robust sales pipeline

     

    - Partner with cross-functional teams to drive customer acquisition and success

     

    - Lead operational excellence and contract negotiations

     

    - Represent AWS Services internal stakeholders and leadership teams

    Basic Qualifications

    - 10+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience

     

    - 5+ years of sales management experience

     

    - Experience in management of large, complex enterprise accounts or equivalent

     

    - Bachelor's degree or equivalent

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Master's degree or equivalent

    The base pay range for this position is listed below. Hourly pay ranges include the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select.

     

    Colorado $187,000 - $252,900 annually / hourly

     

    For salaried roles, your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.     For hourly roles, as a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses.
