Description We are looking for a skilled Credit Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Jackson, Tennessee. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial records, analyzing accounts, and ensuring accurate cash applications. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the team's success while working on-site Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research of receivables to ensure accurate financial documentation and reconciliation.

• Manage and record expenses, ensuring timely payments to vendors.

• Investigate intercompany accounts to determine the appropriate allocation of funds.

• Utilize cash application expertise to resolve and correct misapplied transactions.

• Address backlog issues by streamlining processes and ensuring timely application of payments.

• Maintain and update records using QuickBooks and Excel.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Identify and address discrepancies in financial data to maintain accuracy.

• Provide support in commercial credit collections, ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Analyze credit applications and provide recommendations based on financial data. Requirements • Proven experience in credit analysis and commercial collections.

• Proficiency in cash application processes and reconciliation.

• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to research and resolve discrepancies in financial accounts.

• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

• Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams.

• Previous experience in handling intercompany accounts is preferred.
