Our client is seeking a Cable Technician with 5+ years of experience to support major commercial projects across the Nashville market. What You’ll Do

+ Install and maintain Cat6, voice, data, and CCTV cabling systems.

+ Build out MDF/IDF closets including racks, ladder racks, and labeling.

+ Perform punchdowns and ensure clean, code-compliant installations.

+ Interface professionally with clients while onsite.

+ Travel to various commercial construction sites (minimal travel required).

+ Follow safety protocols and wear full PPE (steel-toed boots, jeans, etc.).

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cable installation and low voltage systems

• Proven ability to build MDF/IDF closets and structured cabling pathways

• Experience with voice/data/CCTV systems and punchdowns

• Own basic low voltage tools and PPE

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Dependable, punctual, and committed to full-time work

Nice-to-Have Skills

+ Experience with access control systems

+ Familiarity with commercial construction environments

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Madison, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
