**The community you'll be caring for** : AdventHealth Winter Garden

AdventHealth Winter Garden is a state-of-the-art hospital with 80 beds, offering a wide range of health care services. These include emergency care, surgical services, lab work, primary and specialty care, imaging, spine health, womens and mens care, pediatric-friendly services, and moreall in one convenient location.

AdventHealth Winter Garden is undergoing a major expanding that will add three additional floors to the hospital's patient tower and bring additional women's services to West Orange County. Our hospital tower expansion will be completed in 2026.

The AdventHealth Winter Garden tower expansion will add 40 new progressive care unit beds, obstetrics and gynecology (including labor and delivery). One floor will be dedicated to labor and delivery, and will include nine labor, delivery, and recovery beds, 10 postpartum beds, two C-section operating rooms, and future space for a level two Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The tower's expansion will also add space for more operating rooms, and a shell floor with capacity for 40 beds.

AdventHealth Winter Garden is conveniently located in the Winter Garden Village, minutes from beautiful downtown Winter Garden and nearby Walt Disney World and the premier attractions of Orlando. Winter Garden is an amazing place to live and play!

The role you'll contribute:

Performs advanced pharmacy technician duties with autonomy and precision across core and specialized practice areas. Provides leadership in hazardous compounding, controlled substance auditing, medication history collection, and decentralized clinical support. Leads troubleshooting, supports formulary and inventory optimization, and contributes to medication safety and compliance initiatives. Mentors staff, supports onboarding and competency validation, and participates in strategic quality improvement and practice advancement efforts. Maintains national pharmacy certification.

The value you'll bring to the team:

+ Independently prepares and dispenses patient-specific medication doses, ensuring correct drug, dose, dosage form, expiration dating, and barcode scanning.

+ Independently compounds and manages complex and sterile medication preparations, including chemotherapy and hazardous formulations, following USP <795>, <797>, <800> guidelines and institutional protocols.

+ Provides coverage in at least one advanced pharmacy practice area such as hazardous cleanroom compounding, CII safe management, medication history programs, decentralized clinical support, environmental monitoring, technician inventory check (i.e., tech check tech where authorized), or pharmacy inventory/purchasing management.

+ Independently manages accurate medication inventory operations, including ordering and stocking product, receiving and rotating stock, removing expired medications, and guaranteeing perpetual inventory counts.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:

+ High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

+ 1 years of contemporary hospital pharmacy experience, retail or ambulatory experience required [Required]

+ Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) [Required]

+ Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) [Required]
