    ### Job Duties

    As a Weatherization Housing Energy Auditor, you will perform onsite inspections in single family homes throughout Beltrami and Cass County.

     

    This position is similar to a home inspector but extensively more detailed with diagnostic testing while focusing on energy efficiency.

     

    40% of the position is outside the office at client’s homes inspecting and evaluating the building envelope and its mechanical systems using diagnostic testing equipment on combustion appliances, identify health or safety issues, pressure diagnostics, thermography and building envelope heat loss.

     

    60% of the position is in the office doing data entry and typing work orders. You must have some experience or background operating a computer/keyboard and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft office programs.

     

    ### Minimum Education Required

    High School Diploma or GED

     

    ### Minimum Experience Required

    1-3 years’ experience in Construction, Energy Audits, HVAC, Electrical, Building Science, Plumbing or Home Inspections preferred.
