    **Location:** Dubuque Regional Humane Society (DRHS)

    **Position Type:** Part-Time

The Dubuque Regional Humane Society is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Animal Care Technicians. No prior animal experience? No problem! We provide all the training you need.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, cleaning enclosures, and ensuring their comfort with fresh blankets and toys.

    + Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for animals, visitors, and staff.

    + Assist with essential janitorial duties like laundry, dishes, and facility cleaning.

    + Observe animal behavior and report any concerns to the Director of Operations.

    + Interact with customers, volunteers, and visitors to share the DRHS mission and policies.

    + Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and handle physically demanding tasks.
