Job Description:
+ The client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Compensation Analyst with hands-on experience executing Year-End (YE) Compensation Planning cycles within the Workday Advanced Compensation module.
+ The ideal candidate will bring recent, practical expertise managing compensation data, modeling planning scenarios, and ensuring seamless delivery of merit and bonus processes.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead and execute the Year-End Compensation Planning cycle, including merit, promotion, bonus, and equity planning, using Workday Advanced Compensation.
+ Manage data integrity, validate inputs, and troubleshoot system issues to ensure accuracy and compliance.
+ Model and analyze multiple planning scenarios to support leadership decision-making and budget alignment.
+ Partner with HRBPs, Finance, and HRIS teams to coordinate configuration, workflows, and reporting needs.
+ Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on Workday Advanced Compensation, advising stakeholders on configuration, process optimization, and best practices.
+ Support BAU (Business-As-Usual) compensation operations, including guidance on job changes, new hires, and promotions.
+ Prepare and deliver reports, dashboards, and insights to inform compensation planning and governance.
+ Drive process improvements, documentation, and knowledge transfer for future compensation cycles.
Required Qualifications:
+ Recent, hands-on experience executing Annual Compensation Review cycles (Merit/Bonus Planning) within Workday Advanced Compensation.
+ Strong understanding of compensation planning processes, data management, and scenario modeling.
+ Advanced proficiency in Workday, Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, modeling), and compensation analytics.
+ Excellent attention to detail, data validation, and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with HR, Finance, and leadership teams.
+ Must be available to work in the PST timezone (9 AM – 5 PM PST).
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience supporting global or multi-country compensation programs.
+ Knowledge of equity compensation and broader total rewards processes.
+ Ability to work under tight deadlines during peak cycles and maintain accuracy under pressure.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Economics, Finance, or another field that uses quantitative analysis, or equivalent practical experience.
