Essential Duties and Tasks:
+ Support Quality Management in ensuring the Quality Management System (ISO, SQF, BRC, GFSI) is being followed.
+ Work in conjunction with Manufacturing Management to ensure manufacturing and Quality Assurance procedures are being performed.
+ Responsible for ensuring that all quality personnel are trained to perform their respective job functions.
+ Support all activities associated with external audits.
+ Support customer complaint and reject process to ensure accurate root cause analysis, timely response, and determination and implementation of corrective actions.
+ Monitor site quality metrics and work with management to develop counter measures as needed.
+ Work with manufacturing to ensure product conformance through documented process monitoring and process controls methods.
Requirements:
+ Associate’s degree and or Bachelor’s degree a plus.
+ Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
+ A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment.
+ Solid working knowledge of quality processes and related manufacturing.
+ Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
+ Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations.
+ Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs, and develop solutions and/or options.
+ Self-confident, self-motivated professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:
Work primarily in a climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Hearing protection, safety shoes and vision protection required on the production floor at all times.
This role operates in a professional environment that requires some exposure to a manufacturing environment. Employee is rarely exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area during extremely hot summer months.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
