    340B Compliance Technician - Full Time - Days

     

    Department: PHARMACY - INPATIENT

    Job Summary

    Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy 340B Business Manager, the 340B Compliance Technician assists in the daily operation and maintenance of the Pharmacy 340B Drug Pricing Program. Primary responsibilities include conducting regular audits of all pharmacy locations and the preparation of detailed reports of results. Assists in remediation of any findings. Participates in annual independent third party compliance audits and HRSA audits, as well as intermittent manufacturer inquiries.

     

    Core Job Responsibilities

     

    + Conduct regular audits of all pharmacy locations

    + Prepare detailed audit reports

    + Assist in remediation of audit findings

    + Participate in annual independent third party compliance as well as HRSA audits

    + Perform analysis related to revenue optimization and cost savings opportunities

    + Answer intermittent manufacturer inquiries

    + Attend at least one 340B University, 340B Coalition or ASHP Conference per year

    + Perform other duties as required

     

    Education/Experience Requirements

    Required:

    + Experience in hospital or retail pharmacy

    + Knowledge and familiarity of the 340B Program

    + Basic knowledge of accounting, finance, business administration, communications, and psychology

    + Must attend 340B University within six months of date of hire

     

    Preferred

     

    + BS/BA Degree in specialized fields such as accounting, finance, business administration, communications, psychology, education, etc.
