    Job Description:

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Non-Conformance Analysis:

    * Review, analyze, and disposition non-conformance reports (NCRs) related to aerospace fastener products and manufacturing processes.

    * Perform root cause analysis to identify issues and develop corrective/preventive actions.

    * Work with quality, manufacturing, and design teams to resolve discrepancies effectively.

    * Engineering Support:

    * Ensure all MRB dispositions comply with engineering requirements, customer specifications, and industry standards.

    * Provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams for rework, repair, or acceptance of non-conforming materials.

    * Collaborate with design engineering teams to evaluate potential design or process improvements based on MRB trends.

    Documentation and Compliance:

    * Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of MRB activities, including Non-Conformance dispositions, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.

    * Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards such as AS9100, FAA, and NADCAP.

    * Assist in audits and inspections related to MRB processes and documentation.

    * Process Improvement:

    * Identify trends and recurring issues from non-conformance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

    * Support lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce non-conformances.

    * Develop and refine MRB processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

    * Customer and Supplier Interaction:

    * Communicate with customers regarding non-conformance issues and proposed resolutions.

    * Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

    * Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor.

    Qualifications

    * To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

    * Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and familiarity with GD&T standards.

    * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

    * Knowledge of aerospace standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., AS9100, FAA, NADCAP).

    * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    * Familiarity with aerospace fastener design and manufacturing processes.

    * Experience with developing and maintaining a PLM system.

    * Experience navigating an ERP/MRP system.

    * Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

    * Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    * Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.

    * Detail-oriented and driven by quality and operational excellence.

    * Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    * Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    * Competence in reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

    * Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

    * Capable of effectively presenting information then responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

    * Ability to write and read English.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    * Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.

    * Skilled at applying mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
