Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliableVeneer Graderto join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and organization of veneer materials used in production. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong teamwork skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards in both product quality and workplace cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Grade veneer according to species and specifications.

+ Pull remakes and veneer for packets as needed.

+ Maintain a clean and organized veneer room.

+ Operate a forklift safely and efficiently (must be forklift certified).

+ Work independently and collaboratively with team members.

+ Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.

+ Ensure consistent and reliable attendance.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Forklift Certificationrequired.

+ Ability to identify and differentiate veneer species and understand grading specifications.

+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

+ Proven track record of good attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements:

+ Ability to lift, move, and handle veneer materials.

+ Standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
