Registered Nurse - Manager of Clinical Services

Full Time, 80 Hours Per Pay Period, Day Shift

Position Summary:

A registered professional who, under the direction of the director, has responsibility for assisting in all clinical services and related areas of Covenant Medical Group (CMG). This position is actively engaged with multiple disciplines in all areas of the practice continuum in efforts to achieve excellent clinical outcomes for patients, including the management and distribution of quality oriented data. Accountable for managing the planning and execution of various operational activities, and for providing input into the budgetary process for all clinical areas as applicable.

Responsibilities

+ Leads in the promotion of ownership and implementation of strategic clinical initiatives.

+ Assures compliance with all state and federal regulations in all areas of responsibility.

+ Provides oversight for all clinical services for CMG clinics lending expertise and knowledge in improving clinical service objectives.

+ Provides oversight for and mentors clinical supervisors within CMG clinics as needed.

+ Engages with clinic leadership as necessary to develop, promote, and support models of care.

+ Assists in the development of process improvements through facilitation and appropriate resource allocation.

+ Monitors effectiveness of processes, plans, and problem-solves to improve outcomes.

+ Maintains financial integrity and control for areas of responsibility, including the development of and adherence to an annual budget.

+ Assists with efforts to analyze and develop medical home model and related models where appropriate.

+ Collaborates with providers and other health care professionals to improve processes that positively impact quality, assure integration of marketing efforts, and the development and implementation of effective system goals.

+ Guides and provides clinical support and expertise to operations managers, including but not limited to: reviewing clinical job descriptions and duties, studying and addressing patient flow needs, orienting, educating, and maintaining competency of all clinical staff.

+ Coordinates documentation education efforts with all applicable parties.

+ Actively works toward the development of a positive culture in a desirable environment.

+ Assists and supports the standardization of products and the consolidation of sources.

+ Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Bachelor of Nursing or related degree required.

Minimum Experience:

Five (5) years’ experience in nursing and/or nursing administration required.Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Licensure Requirement:

Must have and maintain current Tennessee state nursing license (RN).
