Purpose of the Job:
Black Box TPS is seeking a motivated Product Marketing Specialist to join our global marketing team in Plano, TX. In this role, you’ll support the worldwide go-to-market strategy for our KVM (Keyboard-Video-Mouse), AV (Audio-Visual), and IoT (Internet of Things) product lines, with a strong focus on Control Room applications across key industries. Working closely with Product Management, Sales, and Demand Generation teams, you will help translate complex technologies into compelling value propositions, customer stories, and sales enablement tools that drive revenue growth and global market leadership.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities
The successful candidate must have demonstrated ability to perform the following:
Go-to-Market Execution:
+ Support the Director of Product Marketing in planning and executing global GTM initiatives, product launches, and solution campaigns.
Messaging & Positioning:
+ Develop and maintain clear, differentiated product messaging, positioning, and competitive value propositions for target markets.
Content Creation:
+ Produce marketing collateral including product briefs, presentations, web content, sales tools, and case studies tailored to vertical markets (Government, Transportation, Manufacturing, etc.).
Sales Enablement:
+ Equip regional sales teams and channel partners with training, presentations, and competitive insights to effectively position our KVM, AV, and IoT solutions.
Market Research & Analysis:
+ Track industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform product direction and messaging.
Customer & Channel Engagement:
+ Collaborate with channel marketing and demand generation to support events, webinars, customer visits and campaigns that highlight our product and solution leadership.
Performance Measurement:
+ Support measurement of product marketing KPIs including launch success metrics, content utilization, and contribution to pipeline and revenue.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
+ Familiarity with Control Room, AV, or IoT markets a strong plus
+ Experience in developing, implementing and controlling of modern, complex marketing programs in a matrix organization.
+ Strong marketing skills in the areas of lead generation, digital marketing, program development, events/seminars and product promotions, defining and managing appropriate marketing mix.
+ Ability to creatively problem solve and self-motivate to ensure optimization of team activities and that marketing objectives are being met.
+ Proven ability to craft clear business and technical messaging for global audiences.
+ Strong writing, presentation, and project management skills.
+ Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product management, sales, demand generation and marketing operations teams.
+ Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, Pardot)

Education/Experience Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
+ 5–7 years of experience in B2B product marketing, ideally in technology or industrial sector.
+ Strong copy writing skills (examples required)
+ Willing and able to travel on occasion.
