    We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Minneapolis. In this role, you will oversee accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within a dynamic Real Estate environment.     Responsibilities:

    • Manage month-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

    • Supervise the preparation and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.

    • Oversee the creation and review of journal entries to maintain financial accuracy.

    • Coordinate financial statement audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

    • Monitor and enforce accounting policies and procedures to maintain internal controls.

    • Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering growth and attention to detail.

    • Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making within the organization.

    • Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

    • Utilize RealPage software for financial reporting and property management tasks.

    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

     

    Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

     

    • CPA or CMA designation is preferred.

    • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

    • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.

    • Experience in residential real estate management is highly advantageous.

    • Proficiency in month-end close, general ledger management, and financial audits.

    • Strong skills in account reconciliation and journal entry preparation.

    • Familiarity with RealPage software or similar accounting platforms.
