Robert Half is hiring! We are looking for a skilled Hardware Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will focus on troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining systems performance, and ensuring the smooth operation of network infrastructure. Your expertise will be vital in resolving technical challenges, providing training to team members, and improving processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct intermediate-level troubleshooting for systems, servers, and applications, ensuring efficient problem resolution with minimal supervision.

• Perform entry-level diagnostics on network technologies, including IP devices and backbone transports, using established tools and procedures.

• Collaborate with advanced support teams to address and resolve complex technical issues.

• Identify replacement parts accurately, including the associated part numbers, to streamline repair processes.

• Utilize a solid understanding of computer networking infrastructure to support system functionality.

• Provide training and mentorship to operators, fostering knowledge sharing and encouraging innovation.

• Apply system analysis techniques to diagnose software issues and recommend effective solutions to management.

• Address hardware and software challenges independently, without relying on scripts or troubleshooting guides.

• Document procedures for building and maintaining company software to adapt to evolving site environments.

Requirements • Proficiency in troubleshooting systems, servers, and applications at an intermediate level.

• Basic knowledge of IP network technologies and ability to perform diagnostics.

• Strong understanding of computer networking infrastructure.

• Experience in identifying and sourcing replacement hardware parts.

• Ability to independently address software and hardware issues without predefined guides.

• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members effectively.

• Skilled in analyzing system processes and recommending solutions.
