As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area, we are expanding our team and seeking dedicated caregivers to join us. We are urgently hiring for a caregiver to assist a client in Cypress/Spring, TX (77379). Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Cypress/Spring, TX 77379)Schedule: Fixed – Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:00 AM to 3:30 PMType of Care: Dementia care Responsibilities: * Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide daily living assistance to elderly clients, including but not limited to medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care * Provide specialized support and companionship for clients with dementia * Monitor and track client health and well-being, and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor * Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation as needed * Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client care and activities * Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean, healthy environment * Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to ensure the best quality of care Requirements: * High school diploma or GED equivalent * Prior experience working as a caregiver * Experience providing dementia care (required or strongly preferred) * Must be comfortable around dogs (client has a pet in the home) * Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is ideal, but not required * Ability to pass a background check and reference check * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Empathy, patience, and compassion toward elderly clients * Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed Benefits: * Competitive pay * Fixed part-time schedule (Tuesdays and Thursdays) * Ongoing training and professional development opportunities * A supportive and caring work environment * Opportunity to work in a rewarding field that makes a difference in people’s lives EEOC Statement: Always Best Care Senior Services - Greater West Houston, TX is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
