    ABOUT THIS POSITION

    This role will work with new and emerging technologies encompassing hardware and software. This role will be responsible for working with the Systems Engineering Manager to design, develop, configure, and document existing, as well as new, technologies and environments to be utilized throughout the Systems Engineering environments. This will include hardware, operating systems, load balancers, security, server platforms, & emerging technologies, etc.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    + Works in a cutting edge and continually changing SaaS datacenter environment

    + Works with the Systems Engineering Manager on new projects that arise from business needs

    + Creates documentation that will be utilized in the deployment and maintenance of new technologies and systems throughout the company’s infrastructure

    + Analyzes systems requirements and ensures that the systems will offer security, and will be effectively integrated with the current applications

    + Develops and maintains an open and fluid communication relationship with the Systems Engineering Manager

    + Works with the Systems Engineering Manager to determine the production environment requirements and needs, with acceptable deployment timelines and roadmaps

    + Works with other teams to ensure successful transitions and the knowledge transfer of new technologies

    + Evaluates and communicates to the Systems Engineering Manager, areas that require new or improved technology solutions

    + Brings to the attention of the respective parties, any problems that negatively impact the company’s infrastructure

    + Develops and maintains a positive relationship with other direct team members and the team members of other departments

    + Performs other duties and projects as assigned by Management, within the area of responsibility for this position

    + Maintains network equipment, analyzes changes, and modifies equipment configurations as needed for business purposes

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED

    + Over 6 years of experience supporting servers and infrastructure in enterprise datacenter environments

    + Advanced proficiency with both Linux and Windows Server administration and support

    + Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems independently

    + Deep understanding of virtualized and physical server environments

    + Works autonomously while managing project priorities, timelines, and deliverables

    + Experienced in supporting and optimizing VMware vSphere environments

    + Strong grasp of firewall architecture and security policy implementation

    + Skilled in system monitoring and performance analysis using PRTG or similar platforms

    + Expert understanding of SAN technologies and Fibre Channel fabric design and operation

    + Capable of architecting and delivering solutions aligned with overall product and business direction

    + Experienced in planning, leading, and executing multi-sprint technical projects

    + Communicates clearly and effectively across departments and technical domains

    + Demonstrated success collaborating with stakeholders to tactfully resolve complex technical issues

    + Expert knowledge of TCP/IP and related network communication protocols

    + Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience

    Preferred Skills

    + Advanced proficiency in VMware vSphere, vSAN, and Site Recovery Manager (SRM)

    + Strong experience with F5 BIG-IP platforms for load balancing, SSL offload, and high-availability designs

    + Skilled in designing and implementing Disaster Recovery architectures across multi-site environments

    + Hands-on experience with AI-driven automation, for workflow orchestration and systems integration

    + Proven ability to design and support enterprise virtualization, storage, and automation solutions
