Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Status Liaison to join our team in Lombard, Illinois. This Contract-to-permanent position is ideal for someone who excels at managing communication, data accuracy, and legal documentation. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact between the organization and Sheriff’s Offices to exchange case updates and status reports.

• Perform precise data entry tasks into internal systems and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

• Organize and update case records using Microsoft Excel, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

• Review and process legal documents, including warrants and status reports, in a timely manner.

• Maintain detailed and up-to-date records in case management databases.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure prompt action on communications from Sheriff’s Offices.

• Respond professionally to inquiries from Sheriff’s Office staff, addressing questions and concerns efficiently.

• Monitor case progress and track pending documentation to meet deadlines consistently.

• Prepare and submit clear and concise status updates and progress reports.

• Handle sensitive legal information with confidentiality and professionalism.

The salary range for this position is $17/hr to $18/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Previous experience in law enforcement, legal offices, or government agencies is advantageous.

• Demonstrated proficiency in fast and accurate typing/data entry.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for basic data management tasks such as sorting and formatting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and capability to manage large volumes of information.

• Proven organizational and time management skills.
