Position Overview
The Armed Site Supervisor serves as the on-site leader responsible for managing daily security operations, supervising assigned officers, and ensuring compliance with all client expectations, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
This position operates within a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment , requiring exceptional adaptability, leadership, and attention to detail. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to adjust quickly to procedural changes , shifting priorities, and new directives while maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and service.
Qualifications
+ Texas Level III (Armed) Security License – Required
+ Current MMPI (psychological evaluation) – Required
+ Prior Military or Law Enforcement background – Preferred
+ Minimum 3 years of security supervisory experience
+ Minimum 3 years of security operations experience
+ Minimum 3 years of customer service experience
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Reliable transportation and communication (cell phone required)
+ Open availability , including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
+ Proven ability to adapt to new procedures, technologies, and client directives in a dynamic work environment
Responsibilities & Duties
Leadership & Supervision
+ Provide daily supervision and leadership to a team of armed and unarmed security officers.
+ Oversee scheduling, attendance, and shift coverage to maintain full operational readiness.
+ Conduct roll call, inspections, and briefings to ensure officers are prepared, equipped, and informed.
+ Train, coach, and mentor team members in company standards, site-specific procedures, and emergency protocols.
+ Serve as the on-site liaison between Sunstates management, client representatives, and law enforcement agencies.
Operational Oversight
+ Enforce all access control, patrol, and reporting protocols per client and Sunstates standards.
+ Monitor and maintain post orders, ensuring all officers are compliant with operational directives.
+ Conduct interior and exterior patrols to ensure the safety and security of personnel, visitors, and property.
+ Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; coordinate response and document findings accurately.
+ Lead incident investigations and generate professional, detailed reports.
+ Demonstrate flexibility and composure when procedures, assignments, or client expectations change, maintaining seamless operations under evolving conditions.
Customer Service & Client Relations
+ Provide a concierge-level approach to client and visitor interactions, emphasizing courtesy, professionalism, and responsiveness.
+ Maintain positive communication and transparency with client management to ensure satisfaction and operational alignment.
+ Address client concerns promptly and effectively, escalating issues to senior management as needed.
Education Requirements (All)
High School diploma or equivalent
Certification Requirements (All)
Level III Texas Security License
