    Logistics Generalist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Generalist to support daily operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for coordinating logistics activities, ensuring timely material flow, and supporting cross-functional teams to maintain operational efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    + Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling, documentation, and tracking.

    + Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and stock reconciliation.

    + Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.

    + Maintain accurate records of shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.

    + Support logistics planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Communicate with carriers and vendors to resolve delivery issues and optimize transportation.

    + Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in supply chain, logistics, and inventory management.

    + Proficiency in customer service, data entry, and shipping and receiving processes.

    + Knowledge of warehouse management, freight, and inventory control.

    + Experience with dispatch operations.

    + Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.

    + 1–3 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing operations.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Work Environment

    The work environment includes both office and manufacturing settings. Multiple shifts are available: 1st shift (7 AM to 4 PM), 2nd shift (12 PM to 8 PM, 2 PM to 10 PM, or 4 PM to 12 AM).     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, KY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.48 - $23.48/hr.
