    Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth

     

    Work hours: Full Time Nights (6:15 PM - 7:45 AM) for 24 hours/week. Weekend and holiday requirements

    Here's What You Need

    * Other Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program Required

    * 6 Months in an acute care hospital setting or completion of THR residency program Required

    * LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire Required And

    * BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And

    * ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required And

    * CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 Days Required And

    * NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification maintained every 2 years 90 Days Required

    * A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

    What You Will Do

    * Collaborates with healthcare team to support hourly rounding, patient education, and risk reduction.

    * Administers medications safely and performs technical procedures proficiently.

    * Collects and reports patient data to RN, contributing to individualized care planning.

    * Demonstrates critical thinking and adheres to national safety standards.

    * Maintains professional accountability through goal setting, advocacy, and policy compliance.

    * Partners with peers and support staff to enhance clinical competence and adapt to changing needs.

    * Engages in continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and applying evidence-based practices.
