    Overview:

    Six Flags Over Georgia is seeking an outgoing and creative person to join our Human Resources team. This position is responsible for the supervision of the Human Resources Department including training, employee services, guest service auditing, and Park staffing.

     

    **Salary Range:** $52,000 - $57,000

    **Reports to:** Human Resources Director

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Supervise Human Resources daily operations to include assisting with employee investigations, employee concerns, and other issues requiring Human Resources intervention.

    + Provide training to approximately 2,500 team members and seasonal leaders throughout the season.

    + Review, facilitate, and audit departmental training programs including orientation, on-the-job training, and in-services.

    + Audit and provide feedback to team members and seasonal leaders on execution of training objectives through field audits.

    + Assist with the planning, communication, and execution of all employee events.

    + Collaborate with Park management in developing initiatives that support the Company’s Guest Service Survey and Team Member Voice goals.

    + Conduct orientation for international employees covering Park policies, Park tour, program expectations, and housing.

    + Assess Park staffing needs and pre-plan for shifts in staffing needs based on special events and weather at the Park. React quickly to staffing changes and communicate with impacted team members.

    + Assist with the design, implementation and maintaining of Orientation and Leadership training programs.

    + Document employee experience through photographs throughout the year.

    + Cultivate positive working relationships with Park leadership.

    + Assist with grooming enforcement and communication.

    + Coordinate seasonal internship and leadership programs.

    + Assess Park staffing needs, interview schedule, and monitor applicant traffic through the established HCMS.

    + Monitor Employee Attendance System for accurate tracking of labor and employee timesheets throughout the day.

    + Correspond with Park leadership to validate payroll records daily.

    + Ensure payroll processes weekly and communicate discrepancies in payroll records in a timely manner.

    + Ensure hiring, discipline, rewards/recognition, and termination decisions are consistent with park, state, and federal guidelines and laws.

    + Serve as a liaison between department leadership and employees to resolve workplace issues and ensure program expectations are being met.

    + Conduct annual review of team member handbook and personnel forms and suggest changes.

    + Perform periodic performance reviews with staff.

    + Perform all other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    Skills and Qualifications:

    + At least three years demonstrated leadership experience in administration, theme park, or hospitality is required.

    + At least three years of Human Resources management experience is preferred.

    + Experience developing and presenting trainings to multi-level groups.

    + Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of Human Resources documents and other proprietary information.

    + Must be willing and able to work closely with other employees.

    + Will be required to work various shifts as project and park needs dictate, including nights, weekends and holidays.

    + Must possess strong organizational skills and be able to multitask.

    + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    + Computer literacy with proficiency in all Microsoft applications.

    + Must have the ability to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods, as well as, and lift up to forty pounds occasionally.
