    Salary Range: $87,000 - $118,000 per year. The salary for this position will be dependent on total years of qualified experience.

    Job Summary:

    The Clinical Director is responsible for the clinical and program aspects for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in the Evaluation and Treatment Center (ETC). Position is responsible for oversight in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans. Ensure program compliance with New Yor State regulations and insurance companies requirements.

    Essential Job Duties:

    + Provide clinical and professional supervision to BCBA’s within the program.

    + Create policy and procedures based on NYS regulations.

    + Create clinical templates based on NYS regulations and insurance companies requirements.

    + Conduct and/or assist with internal audits to ensure program compliance.

    + Lead and participate in clinical and program meetings.

    + Complete and maintain credentialing with all insurance companies working with ETC.

    + As needed function as a BCBA/LBA within the program and perform essential duties associated with that position.

    + Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized treatment plans.

    + Implement evidence-based interventions using Applied Behavior Analysis techniques to promote positive behavior changes.

    + Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary based on data collected.

    + Complete reports for insurance companies, families, and/or any other stakeholders.

    + Support Behavior Technicians through effective supervision, ensuring that they are implementing treatment plans with a high degree of reliability and fidelity

    + Knowledge of typical growth and development and the impact of the developmental disabilities on the individual and his/her family.

    + Has basic knowledge of alternative communication devices.

    + Collaborate and provide training with families, caregivers, and other professionals.

    + Train in best practices.

    + Conduct new hire training.

    + Maintain accurate medical documentation and records related to client progress and treatment outcomes.

    + Conducts all interactions within current best practices and ethical guidelines.

    + Maintain client confidentiality within the regulations of HIPPA/FERPA and agency guidelines

    + Any other duty as assigned by your supervisor.

    Skills:

    • Computer skills (Central Reach, Microsoft 365, etc.)

    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

    Minimum Education Required:

    • Maters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology or related field

    Minimum Experience Required:

    1-2 Years:

    • Insurance Based Experience

    • Proficiency in medical documentation and maintaining client records. Knowledge and use of Central Reach preferred.

    • Conducting client assessments and develop tailored behavioral therapy plans.

    • Integrating ABA with a compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding of individual needs.

    • Telehealth/Hybrid experience.

    • Supervisory experience clinical and professional.

    3-5 Years:

    • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism.

    License/Registration/ Certifications Required:

    • NYS driver’s license

    • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

    • Active LBA Certification in the state of New York

    • Within 1 year of hire complete the supervisor training coursework as outlined by the BACB

    Training Requirements:

    • New Hire Orientation

    • All trainings required by programs in which you service individuals

    • Continuing education as per NYS Office of Professions guidelines

    Physical Requirements:

    The overall nature of the position is sedentary requiring little physical effort with occasional light physical exertion required. There is little, if any, exposure to environmental conditions.

     

    • The constant physical demand of the position is sitting.

    • The frequent physical demands of the position are standing, walking, climbing, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, and eye/hand/foot coordination.

    • The occasional physical demands of the position are lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling.
